That’s basically how androcentrism works.
Male is seen as the default, so female is something weird, extra, and other.
I’ve always seen “femmes” as simply another frame type- like wreckers, miners, gladiators, seekers, scouts, etc. Just a frame type that tends towards curves and agility and just so happens to resemble the human “female.” And in viewing how the English language functions, the Cybertronians chose gendered pronouns to avoid being associated with human machines as “it.”
Sexually, all Cybertronians are the same. Femmes, Seekers and all types have the same reproductive organs (be that spark-chamber, valve and spike, whatever) and probably have no qualms about being considered likened to a human male or female- if you called Optimus “she”, I imagine he’d barely notice.
I’m unimaginably sorry that I have to do this, but I’m in hot water I can’t ignore, put off, or potentially get help. My car has been impounded because a housemate and ex borrowed it and got pulled over without insurance or a license. I’m looking at about $1000 to get it back, though that will increase every day I can’t go get it. The fee for the police department $500 and then I’ll have to pay storage fees, plus paying for insurance that’s required by law both in general and just to get it out of the impound lot. The storage fees go up every day, I’m not sure how much, I think it’s a good $70+.
This means I need to get it out as soon as I possibly can or I risk losing my car entirely. Any shred of freedom I had will be gone, the likelihood of getting a job lessened, the possibility of moving away from the toxic and harmful situation I’m in will be really, really unlikely.
I just really need help. I’m taking commissions at half price, which would be 1 cent/2 words. A one hundred word piece would be 50 cents. A thousand word piece would be five dollars and so on and so on.
Any sort of donations would also really be appreciated.
